Doctor Drama

Well I did go to the Dr but he didn't lance what I thought was a boil. He said it was a Epidermoid Cyst and had to actually be free from infection and swelling before he could excise it. Nothing dangerous or of much consequence, just something to make me more nuts than I am. So I have to take yet another round of antibiotics and wait. I have another appointment on May 26th and if the swelling is gone he will do it then. He was a real nice older man and I liked him cause he said, and I quote, " If I cut into that sucker now, I promise you it will bleed like hell." Now that I understand!!! So it just itches and kind of makes my neck stiff but other than that no big deal. I did learn a lot about cysts and now I think I have a couple of Lipomas Cysts in my butt. These are fatty cysts that have a firm, rubbery consistency. That's my excuse for a big butt, what do ya think??????

My poor Clifford woke up about 3:00 this morning sick as a dog with a bad headache and a stiff neck. There has been a flu bug going around here (Not the Swine Flu) and I think he caught it. We were all sick last week but now he finally got it. Poor baby. So I will go home for lunch and baby him a bit. I think we are both just tired from too much company and running around. We are going to rest from now until we leave on the 9th of May. It will be a very hectic two weeks as we go to Grand Junction for 4 days for Traci's graduation and then back here for two days and then we leave on the 15th for Washington DC, Philadelphia, and Gettysburg. I hope we have time to run over to Winchester, VA for an afternoon to see Patsy Cline's birthplace, I would love that!!

Oh, I'm so glad it's not the swine flu - we have cases here in GA now and I'm going to tell everyone at the club - do NOT touch or kiss me!!! And your neck thingy sounds painful - hope you can get it out soon. What a trip you have planned - it's beautiful there and I just wish KT and I could take a break! You'll have to take lots of pictures for me!

Hi Deb,
Happy Mother's Day! It sounds like you are in the midst of a whirlwind of travel and adventure. Have a wonderful time. I heard you aren't going to be able to come to the reunion in July. We will miss you! Take care and give the kids our love. Aunt Linda
