Fun Weekend

Just got back from spending the weekend in Vegas with Greg and Rhonda, Cliff's cousins from Colorado. Went down on Sat afternoon and had dinner at Bob Taylor's Ranch House out on the 95. It was nice. We thought it would be fun to show them some of "old" Vegas since it is about gone. Then we stayed the night at the Hilton and saw "Heart" in the showroom. It was a great show and the girls still have it. Man what a voice Ann has. The mix of people at the show were really strange, just old 60's rockers, county people, young kids and crack heads. I enjoyed it but most of the people around us were too noisy and were more into partying than listening to the music. It was a little annoying as I really like Ann Wilson's voice and would have loved to have been able to focus on really listening to her phrasing but alas too much noise. With all that said it was a rollicking trip back to the 60's with patchouli oil in the air.

We spent the night and got up this morning and went to breakfast at the buffet then drove home, said good bye to the "Cole's (they left for Colorado) and have been having a lazy day watching comedy. It feels good to be home. I am feeling pretty good today.

Last night I "partied" (no drinking I just was up) a little too much and went to the room early to lay down while everyone else tried to take the Hilton's money. I was tireder than I thought and having jabbing pains in my jaws. This Taxol is a pain in the joints. Sometimes it's my knees and mostly my jaws hurt and it feels like my teeth are falling out. Then at random times my nose will start to bleed. Joy! I feel completely disgusting sometimes. I told Cliff not to be surprised if we woke up and my teeth and jaw were laying on my pillow. Poor thing he has to see it all. Anyway, it was much better this morning and I am pretty good now, so just have to let time pass and it gets better.

I am going down in the morning to Vegas to file some papers for Charlee at family court and Cliff is going to watch the baby Gordy. Hopefully I can meet Teddi and baby Oli and we can have breakfast. Love my baby girls.
