Well it is Friday and just got back from physical therapy. Had a good work out and found out my MRI is scheduled for August 9. I will be glad to find out what's going on with my knee. Bet they have to scope it but I guess we will see. Want to go lay in the sun but it's just too hot.
Not much else going on today. Starting to get ready to go to Grand Junction next week and then on our Train trip to see Traci and Ryan. I'm getting excited!

I need more than physical therapy
Went to St. George for physical therapy this morning. Same work out and it just doesn't seem to be helping so I called Dr Haslam and asked if he would order an MRI on my left knee so we can get to the bottom of what's wrong. I have to rely on their good graces since I don't have insurance it's just a gimme from the hospital. They have done so much and are very accommodating due to the cancer issue just hope they help me out with this. My guess is that it's a torn meniscus and my left knee will have to be scoped but I guess we will wait and see. I just want to be able to walk right again. I'm tired of the pain. The good news is it seems to really be helping my hip so added bonus. They think both are caused from the neuropathy in my feet making me walk funny and throwing my gate off.
Funny cause they have me work out on an underwater treadmill and it has a camera that films you from your waist down and projects it onto a TV screen above the pool. When I asked why they did that they said so they could look at how you walk and analyze and see if it is something in your gate that may be causing the problem. With that said in all my therapy sessions in the pool I have yet to see any therapist look at the TV and try to use it as a diagnostic tool, and there are lots of people in the pool using it not just me . It's like most things with people just going thru the motions. Don't get me wrong, I am very thankful for their help and they have been so wonderful to me but it's just an observation that most of the things we can all do to really help are sidelined from lack of interest. So as it is I get to go see my fat become buoyant and jiggle underwater projected on the wall for all to see. Great.
Came home and helped Raul paint some window trim over at Cha's . It is looking really good. Raul has done a lot of work stained her cabinets and painted the outside. Later this week he is re-skirting the house. Nice she has someone to help her for a change.

If we had half the money that company wastes we would be rich. Guess it shows how much money there is in the gas and oil industry just by how much they waste.

Tuesday Afternoon
Well I'm finally back to blogging. I started using Facebook and stopped blogging and I have finally realized how much I hate Facebook and how frustrating it is and how much I really enjoyed blogging so . The really sad thing about Facebook is that it's so superficial and so much stupidity and drama. I just can't take it so I am checking out of that median and I figure anyone who gives a damn about me will contact me here. There are a few people I will miss as it's nice to see old friends who are far away but the rest is too much for me. Maybe I am too cynical but it is what it is!!
The weather is strange today. It's the 26th of July and it's relatively cool plus it has spit rain all day. I had Gabbi part of the afternoon and we had fun. She played in her pool and watched movies and we went to Walmart. She is a sweet baby.
Teddi Jo told me today they are moving to California and she is going to work for LA County. I absolutely hate it but if that's what will make them happy I guess that what needs to happen. Even though I don't see the kids more than about once a month it will really be hard with them in CA. Just seems like everything is changing and in a way that I'm not too thrilled about. I try to remember the old Buddhist saying " Can't you see it's all perfect" but the truth is I can't see that it is LOL. Anyway I will sure miss them just knowing they were in Vegas and I could see them was a comfort. Just feels like one more is gone, with Toby in Oregon, Teddi in California, I guess I just have to be grateful that Cha is still here. Count your blessings
