Well I'm finally back to blogging. I started using Facebook and stopped blogging and I have finally realized how much I hate Facebook and how frustrating it is and how much I really enjoyed blogging so . The really sad thing about Facebook is that it's so superficial and so much stupidity and drama. I just can't take it so I am checking out of that median and I figure anyone who gives a damn about me will contact me here. There are a few people I will miss as it's nice to see old friends who are far away but the rest is too much for me. Maybe I am too cynical but it is what it is!!
The weather is strange today. It's the 26th of July and it's relatively cool plus it has spit rain all day. I had Gabbi part of the afternoon and we had fun. She played in her pool and watched movies and we went to Walmart. She is a sweet baby.
Teddi Jo told me today they are moving to California and she is going to work for LA County. I absolutely hate it but if that's what will make them happy I guess that what needs to happen. Even though I don't see the kids more than about once a month it will really be hard with them in CA. Just seems like everything is changing and in a way that I'm not too thrilled about. I try to remember the old Buddhist saying " Can't you see it's all perfect" but the truth is I can't see that it is LOL. Anyway I will sure miss them just knowing they were in Vegas and I could see them was a comfort. Just feels like one more is gone, with Toby in Oregon, Teddi in California, I guess I just have to be grateful that Cha is still here. Count your blessings
I will try to catch up on the events of the last couple months and post some pictures ASAP

WEll, I'll follow you here! I agree with Facebook and half the time no one interacts with me anyways. Sometimes I don't see the point, cause the original one of being able to stay in touch with people isn't working. Can't wait to read more of what's going on with you. Miss you guys lots. Can't believe Teddi is moving to Cali. I guess I can't say I didn't see it coming though, seems like they spend a lot of time with his family. I hope you're feeling well, and despite all the disruptions you have some peace and comfort in your life!
Love ya!
Linda
Glad your back! As for FB, it is addicting, I find myself checkin it every day in spite of not knowing a thousand gazillion friends :) Most of my friends/family postings are minimal alot of trivial chatter/game request always having to "delete post" ect.I have been delighted hearing from long lost compadres, seeing pictures and how they have evolved. I don't spend a lot of time on it but do check it daily, checking for notices on neighborhood events/projects.I could find alot of same info but would have to pick up a dozen different area publications/news papers. Any hoots...I wish I would take the time and do the blog/web site as you do for the reasons I used to journal daily. I have not journaled in the past four or more years. I'm not real savvy on computer as for organizing/sending pictures, but have many on my computer. So that my take (whew long winded as usual) As for kids/loved ones moving away..I was just telling Danny last night it would be great if Shawn would bring the girls to grandma and grandpa home, they would have so much fun helping me with garden, picking green beans, watching the bees and other curious lookin critters, play in sprinklers..ect (we are always outside when Im visit there)I do go over 2-4 X's a year but its hard not being in your own enviroment/surroundings, its a constant go go, cleaning,cooking,visiting...always glad to get back home and decompressurize, aaahhhh!
What exctly is it that Cliff does? Mentioning "frack"-in, its keeps poppin up, a new enviromental buzz word (one of many)Sadly, my take on the enviromental saga is:"too little too late"! Do you have a garden? Dan and I went to a "Steam Off" event outside the city of old time engines steam powered such as tractors, the pop pop's.It was actually very interesting for a "not mechanically inclined" kind-o-person (my sister and hubby were here from Boise and have a friend who makes small sized models)The crowd was of a whole lot of farmers/mechanics, almost like country fair. It was great to get out of the city, doesn't happen often cept to go to Boise and that is a limited as for taking in the sites. Well kiddo, good luck with your health issues..it sucks being in pain! Got to get on with my day before the heat is too much to take which hasn't been very often this summer (if you can call it a summer)...
