How Time Flies

Well I looked at my blog and could not believe how long it had been since I had posted anything. We have been baby sitting Charlee's baby, Gabbi for the last month or so and it keeps both of us hopping all day long. I tell you I had forgotten how "busy" a two year old can be. Lord we do enjoy her but by the time she goes home at 5:00 we are both worn out. I don't know how Charlee and Teddi do it, working and taking care of those babies. I know I did it too, but I just don't remember it being this tiring.

We didn't have Gabbi this morning so I got a lot done and even ran to St George to try to figure out some doctor bills. I am an accountant and I can't make heads or tails of these doctor's billings. They can't seem to figure it out either. Every bill I get has the same invoice numbers but different amounts, nothing matches their statements. Lord what a mess. So I just keep wading thru it and trying to figure it out. I am getting tired of "you'll have to talk to my supervisor but she's not here this week".

My article I wrote came out in the paper over the past 3 weeks. It is a full 2 1/2 pages and can be read on mesquitelocal.com under The Big C. Everyone says I should add to it and write a book, but I don't know if I have the energy or not. I really feel pretty good just not too much pep. I started my new kind of chemo and it doesn't make me feel nearly as "weird". But it does make my hands and feet tingle and they are really tender. Kind of strange. I tried to stop taking my sleeping pills last night since I was off the other chemo, but I woke up at 1:00 am and could not go back to sleep so I guess I will keep taking them. I mean what can happen? It's not like I have to worry about getting cancer!!HA.

Tony and Cliff are playing video games , killing zombies, they have a lot of fun together. Teddi is coming up tomorrow to go to a car show with her friend so we will get to see her. I guess she is leaving Oliva with a sitter so we will not get to see our "big girl" but maybe we can see her next week.

It is a beautiful day today and I am enjoying the sunshine. It is suppose to rain all next week so I am getting the sun while I can. I can't imagine how Gabbi will be all couped up all week. Yikes!!!She is so sweet, we will just have to watch movies all week and "play babies". Of course, Daddy Daddy will have to keep her all "punched up". She takes her little fists and acts like she's boxing and then they fight. It is so funny and she loves it and then will scream and run for me and act like she is being beat up. She will do it all day if you will play!!

Hi Debbie, I work in the PR department at Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George and I saw your story in the Mesquite news. You said some nice things about us and I was wondering if you'd be OK with us sharing a condensed version of the story in our employee newsletter? Let me know at drmcpr@gmail.com. Thanks -Brady White
