Time IS Flying

Well, you know us and our hats! It was Mother's Day and we had a pig and a monkey hat so everyone had to have a turn wearing them. I bought them for the babies but we all had so much fun with them. As you can see my hair is growing like crazy but it is curly and it is gray. Not an attractive combination! I cannot wait till I can dye it. I imagine I will have to go back to blond because it will be a nightmare keeping the roots up if I go dark. I ordered a blond wig for the summer (just because I think it will be cooler) so we will see how it looks. The kids came for Mother's Day and we barbecued steaks and had corn on the cob and salad followed by the famous blueberry cake. We ate like pigs. My taste is finally back and if I'm not careful I will be fat as a pig. Everything tastes Wonderful and it is Amazing. I am feeling really good and am getting lots of energy back.

Today was my 1/2 way point in being done with radiation. I am just a tiny bit red and not sore at all. I have been lucky (boy I'll say). Hopefully I can get to the end without it getting too sore. The radiation tech's are so nice and we have fun joking around. Now I just have to take Herceptin till January (every 3 weeks and the push takes about 2hrs). It really has very mild side effects just a little achy and a few hot flashes nothing to make a fuss about. Boy have I been lucky up till this point. Just glad to see an end to it all in site!!!! For now, I fell really good and soon I will have real hair (with no bugs yeah)

Here is me and big daddy. You see who is wearing the pig ears!!!And who is monkeying around
My beautiful baby girls. They were so cute. I asked Oliva if she liked Mima's hair and she said, "No, you better get a top on it before bugs start crawling in it!" She sat on my lap most of the afternoon and we sang Twinkle twinkle little star over and over and over. Her little eyes just danced.
Teddi and Olivia being a monkey
Charlee and the baby Gorda trying to get her hat off
Now there is a Pig and a Monkey if I ever saw em. My handsome boys that I love so much!
Teddi and Donny. Good thing he is a good sport and will wear the hat. You have to wear the hats to fit in around here.
