Well, we did watch the race in Talledega on Sunday and we did have biscuits and gravy. The race sucked just like it did in the spring and I was pissed off. NASCAR refused to let the drivers bump draft in the corners so it was just about as boring as can be finally at the very end of the race the drivers said screw it and just broke the rules and started to race, then there was a wreck and they red flagged the track, then it ended up a green/ white/ checker and half the field ran out of fuel and the whole race was retarded. Talledega is my favorite track and they have managed to ruin both races there this year BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NASCAR. Oh well on to Texas.
Teddi and Marti stayed over the weekend and I got to play with Olivia all weekend. Cha brought baby Gabby over and we got to love her sweet face too. Cliff and Marti stayed up all night both nights gaming but the rest of us got some sleep. Ron and Sharon came by last night to see if I wanted to go flying with Ron. Olivia kept calling Ron Grandpa and had to hug him when they got here, but before they left she was sitting there staring at him and she said, " I don't like him, and then pointed at Sharon and said, " I like her." Ron never could get her to say she liked him after that. She is such a little shit. It was a really nice weekend. When Martin and Teddi left Olivia said, Well, Happy Halloween Mima" it was so funny, it was like well, that's that for this year.
We are all packed and ready for Texas. The car is loaded with boots, hats, and jeans, and Jeff Jordon clothing. We could never fly because it would cost us $1000.00 for our clothes. Cliff is taking a nap and we are leaving here about 2:00 pm pacific. We have to stop in St George at the oncologist to have my labs done before we leave and then we are out of here. Hopefully we will stay in Flagstaff tonight. So I may or may not post this week. We are taking the lap top so we will see what happens. If we don't then I quess I will talk to ya all next week.
Post Script:
Pam and Kevin left this morning for China, we wish them Godspeed and lots of happiness and safety. We are going to try to go see them as soon as my chemo and reconstruction surgery is done next spring. That's if I can get old "I hate to fly" to agree to a 25 hour flight. I am already working on him so we'll see, I mean I can't miss China!
Post Script Redux:
I dyed my hair this morning as I am not going to God's Country (TEXAS) with gray roots. I got a couple of brush fulls of loose hair as I was brushing it out so I think it has begun.I am taking hats and wigs just in case and I bet we are stopping for a head shave on the way!!!!!!!!
