Sad Weekend

We went to Idaho over the weekend for Lindy's funeral. It was sad but very sweet and loving. It broke my heart for Kyler and the kids, just too sad for words. So many decisions to make and how do you make good decisions when your heart is broken. I am praying for them constantly.

Got back home to more wind and cool weather. It actually snowed on us a couple times while in Idaho so we were glad to get back to the warmth of Nevada ; so here we are and no warmth. They say it should be back into the 90's this weekend. Mom is coming down on Friday and I am going to pick her up at the airport. We have to go to a another funeral in Vegas on Saturday. It's my Great Uncle Hugh who died of lung cancer a couple weeks ago.. I hope this is the last one for awhile cause it's all too sad for me. He was a really great guy, very intelligent, and my kind of guy. At least he had lived his life and so it is not as tragic as Lindy dying so young, this is more just the cycle of life.

Had a radiation and a herceptin treatment today. I feel OK just tired. To much traveling, stress, and treatments. I just need to rest but we have our sweet Gabbi tomorrow and I have a radiation treatment so I doubt there will be much rest in store for me. Then Friday Mom will be here so I better just cowboy up and get everything done. The worst thing is my allergies are killing me. Just wish this wind would stop and then the allergies would get better. Oh well!!
