Friday Night Bowling

We had league bowling last night. I , of course, could not bowl, but I attended as the cheerleader. Bill's wife Cheryl, has filled in for me this season. She is a better bowler than I am so it has worked out well. Big Daddy's Hot Rod team won all 3 games plus pin fall last night Yeah. We had fun.

The guys had a few beers but I stuck to ginger ale and Leo had O'Douls. He has problems with his liver and the doctor told him if he quit drinking his liver would heal itself. I am so proud of him cause he just stopped drinking like that. We had a bowling alley dinner of hamburgers and chicken strips that were actually pretty good. After bowling, we went into the casino and had a plan to listen to the band but they were so awful we could not stand to listen to them. Sad with so many really good musicians out of work that they would hire these guys, Anyway, we went out and put $20.00 in the penny machines and were home by 11:30. We watched television for a minute then went to bed. Cliff said "I'll see you at about 9:00 and I know you will see me about 7:00. "I laughed but I actually woke up at 6:30 and Cliff woke up at 8:30. I made us some bacon and eggs and then I sat down in my chair and Cliff laid down on the couch and the next thing I knew I woke up and it was 1:30 n the afternoon. I could not believe we fell back asleep and slept all that time. It's not like us. i ques we are tireder (more stressed) than I thought, We have just laid around all day and really haven't done much.

I did go to Walmart with Charlee and Gordy and bought Digger a new dogie bed, I threw his old one out because it was so nasty and he needed a new one as it is getting cold and his old bones need to be in a warm bed not on the cold tile floor. He seemed to like his new bed and it's washable so that's nice.
