Happy 50th Birthday Keith

Well here we are with our friends Keith and Karen Anderson. They are from Paducah, Ky and are on vacation going to the Grand Canyon. We met them in Kanab last night and spent some time visiting with them and going to dinner. We had a GREAT time. We had dinner at Denny's Wigwam a real touristy place but quaint with good food. I splurged and had a beer and I can tell you it tasted like heaven. Nectar of the God's that Budweiser. We just sat and talked and caught up on old times, discussed politics, religion, what we would change if we ran the world (everything and WE would talk to the Dali Lama and tell China to SUCK IT). We got a room and stayed the night. We were real comfortable and didn't even wake up til 8:30. Keith and Karen had already left for the canyons so we drove over to St George, past Colorado City, polygamist ville where a sign said it was founded in 1985 and I know that's a lie cause it was there when I was a little kid. It is strange because a lot of the town is deserted. After the Prophet Jeff's got arrested a lot of the people went to Texas so it's really run down and many homes abandoned.

I had doctors appointments in St George with the Radiologist and had a MUGA heart scan. I guess to the contrary of what many people think, I DO have a heart and it is beating strongly. Chris Ann, the head of my nuclear medicine posse, said I did have gas so she warned Cliff not to be surprised if I had to toot on the way home (HA)

It was a wonderful relaxing evening with friends. Keith has had cancer 4 times in the last 4 years, a mass in his back, two lumps in his left arm, intestinal, and kidney. At one point they gave him 6 months to live but he has fooled them and it's been 4 years and as of today, he checks out cancer free!!! Saturday is his 50th birthday and he said at one point he just wanted to live long enough to wake up on the rim of the Grand Canyon on his 50th birthday. Well, he had accomplished that and is feeling great and is cancer free to boot!! You go Keith and Happy Birthday Sweetheart and Many More to Come!!!
