Cooling Off

Well it has finally cooled off and it sure is beautiful. Our yard is so green and nice. It's really hard and the grass gets real stressed in the hot summer months, so it's nice to see it look so healthy. All the flowers and plants look nice and it's wonderful to sit out on the patio. We had the Mexicans over for dinner last night and ate out on the patio, it was nice. Gordy ran around getting into mischief and looking so cute. We watched her for the afternoon so Leonard could get some painting done. They are switching Tony and Gordy's rooms so they had to repaint. It will be much better since Gordy's room is lots bigger and then when Antony is there he and Tony will have the bigger room. She is such a sweet little girl. Cliff started the little red truck and she went nuts, She loves that truck and is always kissing it and patting it. He took her for a ride from the front yard to the back yard and loaded some junk and hauled it to the dump. She was in pig heaven. She kept making her eyes fo real big like she was so excited. It was so cute. I don't know why she is that way about that truck but it sure is funny.

I am feeling pretty good and getting around more and more. I am driving a little bit but I am still not my old self. I guess I am too impatient. All this crap is boring. Too many doctor visits and we haven't started yet. I guess I will learn patience among other things. Who wants to sit around talking about sick crap, guess again I better get use to it. I am thankful I have the strength to fight and that's the main thing. I did get a good book yesterday called something about Sexy Cancer. It's a really good book for anyone who needs a pick me up.

I am hoping we can go to the Bullring to the races this weekend. I think Cliff is afraid it will be too much for me, but I think I will be OK. I am tired of sitting around and I know that he is to so I am keeping my fingers crossed that he will let me try. So it's a good day , I feel strong, lucky, and happy.
